Submissions & Guest Bloggers

Do you want to guest blog for The Bride and Groom.com or send in a submission from a recent wedding?

Submission & Guest Blogger Guidelines:

1. The content you submit must be 100% unique and written by you.
2. All images submitted must be either your own work or you must own the copyrights prior to submission to The Bride and Groom.com.  All images submitted will be assumed that the submitter owns the rights and will be used accordingly.  We are happy to link back to the owners of the images assuming you have asked for written permission to have them used on our site. (Any images provided without that approval the guest blogger will be propitiated for any future submissions & removal of submissions can be done at our discretion at anytime for any reason.
3. Your content must be written for The Bride and Groom.com and may be republished on your site one week after we have posted it on our site.
4. The topic must speak about wedding tips, tricks, planning or ideas.  If you are a vendor, your topic must also relate to your wedding niche.
5. Post should be between 100-300 words & contain a minimum of 3 images.(See 2 for more information about copyrights for images)
6. Featured weddings must be submitted with a minimum of 20 images to be considered.  Other suggestions could be featured engagement sessions, bridal sessions etc…
7. There is no cost to post.
8. Posts must be non-promotional, but we will include your 30-word bio for you at the end of your post with a free link back to your site.  This is great for building traffic back to your site.
9. No compensation offered ~ this a great way to gain a exposure for your own business and/or website while helping brides and grooms plan their wedding.
10. How it works: Send your submission or guest blog to Melissa@brideadngroommarketing.com (all material sent to us will be reviewed & possibly changed if we feel necessary including bio.)
11. All submissions will be reviewed but not all submissions will be accepted.  If your submission is approved we will send you the link after it is posted.  If your submission is not approved will send you a reply email to notify you. (If you have submitted your work to another local site we ask that you do not send it to us after it is published on their site.)

Bio~ (Tell us about who you are & what you do in approximately 30 words)

As well as your article that you would like to submit along with a minimum of 3 images that go with your article.  All images should be sent giving credit to all sources (florist, photographer, caterer, cake, tux, dress etc…)  & should be sized to 600 pixels wide. (Please do not submit images that are larger than 600 pixels wide.)

Watermarks are accepted but not required so long as they don’t cover up the details in the image.
