Long before Kate Middleton chose her gown for her Royal Wedding Andrea LeFevre approached Modest Couture by Elizabeth to design her a gown that exemplified the class and sophistication of vintage 1950′s.  Andrea wanted to make sure her gown had lace and Betsy from Modest Couture knew how to make her gown dreams a reality. Andrea and Dallin were married on May 20th, 2011 in Logan Utah in the Logan LDS Temple.  Their reception was held in the Thompson Family Home in Erda Utah.

Bride – Andrea Lefever

Groom – Dallin Anderson

Andrea and Dallin met in a high school financial literacy class and have basically been best friends ever since.

To ask her to marry him he posted signs down a private lane that goes from her house to his that said “Andrea LeFevre… Will you… go to… prom… wait!… Will you Marry Me?

We asked Andrea to share some of the details of her wedding with us.

Do you have a song? – You’re my Best Friend by Queen

What were your wedding colors? – Navy blue, light blue and light purple

What do you like most about him? - The way he makes me feel, he treats me like a Queen! He never fails to tell me he loves me. I can’t talk to anyone the way I can talk to him. We have so much fun together! I married my best friend!

What do you like most about her? -  How much fun we have together! I can always just be myself around her!

What was the thing you remembered most about your wedding? -  The sense of accomplishment afterwards, that I just made it through the most important day of my life and no one got hurt. I remember that I felt like I was on top of the world, even though not everything was as perfect as I would have liked, it didn’t matter because at the end of the day the only thing that mattered was Dallin.

Is there anything you would do differently, if so what? – I loved everything! Even the mistakes!

One of the fun unique things they had at their wedding was an ice cream and cookie bar with IBC Cream Soda and Root Beer for everyone.

What advice would you give to other Brides when planning their wedding? – Don’t be afraid to be bossy. It’s your day! Don’t be afraid to let friends and family help either though, they have lot’s of great ideas, but in the end it’s all about what you want. It’s okay if not everything is perfect, chances are people are looking at you more than the decorations. Believe me, you look beautiful on your wedding day no matter what and everyone can see that.
