Are you the type of bride who wants to customize their wedding down to the very last touch? Do you want to add tiny touches of vintage flair to elements of your wedding, while keeping the feel formal and classy? Maybe you just want to do something different for your groomsmen that sets them apart! These adorable versions of the floral boutonniere are sure to draw some attention!

What you will need:

-Button of all shapes and sizes (you can choose how you want your color scheme)

-Green wire (floral wire or craft wire works wonderfully)

-Hot Glue

-Safety Pins

How-to:

1.      Arrange bundles of 2 or 3 buttons stacked on top of each other.

a.       Try alternating colors or play around to see what you like!

2.      Cut a piece of wire to thread through the buttonholes all together, in order to hold them in a stack.

a.       Make sure you cut your wire long enough to leave a “stem” at the back of the stack.

3.      After arranging 5, or so, stacks, gather all of the “stems” and bundle them together with the green floral wire. Make sure to give this stem many layers to make it nice and thick!

4.      Thread a safety pin through the back, and you have your boutonniere!

Variations:

1.      Try using different colors of wire for your “stems” to give more of a funky flair!

2.      Cut a leaf out of felt or another sturdy fabric to hot glue to the back of your “stems.” Maybe even try a feather, instead of a leaf!

3.      If you want to add a little bit more volume to the accessory, cut 8, 5” inch pieces of ribbon and loop the ribbon, gathering all of the ends in the middle. Use a drop of hot glue to secure these “petals” to the back of your button-ing blooms!
