Simple Things to Make Your Wedding More Spectacular
Simple things to make your wedding more spectacular

Weddings can be a LOT of work and cause a LOT of stress. Some of this stress is just inevitable. Finding the perfect dress, reception center, and deciding who to invite may not be the quickest and easiest things to do. However, in the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, there are a few things you can do to make your wedding more simple. And by doing them, you will be able to focus on the things that matter most to you on your special day.
*Forget tradition. What? Forget tradition? Now I’m not saying you should throw out anything that has been running in your family for generations, but I am saying to think about the possibility of going outside the box.
For example, I know there is a lot of superstition when it comes to the groom not seeing the dress before the wedding day. But for me, it didn’t matter. I decided for my soon-to-be husband to come with me to take bridals. And I am SO glad I did. We got lots of great pictures we wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise and it took off lots of pressure on the wedding day.

*Use the pictures you got from your ‘bridals and groom’ photo shoot to decorate. Your guests will love seeing these pictures and it will give you a chance to show off some of the pictures that most people will never see.
*Consider your venue when choosing refreshments. For example, I really wanted to have an ice cream bar. I had all the toppings planned out and coordinated with my colors. The only problem was, I checked the weather and it was going to be about 80 degrees. Since I was having an outdoor reception with not a ton of shade, I quickly learned that this would not be very feasible unless I wanted to serve ice cream soup. So, I changed plans and went with pie instead. It was a hit! Everyone loved it and it was so easy to serve up.
*Finally, choose a guest book that suits your style. When looking for my own wedding, I discovered that there weren’t many options besides the boring books with pages of straight lines. I knew that I would never look at a book of signatures, so I opted to make my own. Choose what is you!
Doing these simple things can reduce stress and help make your day SPECTACULAR!
