I have to say, I love wedding cakes. I tend to be drawn to the wedding cake area at wedding receptions just to see what kind of cake the bride and groom chose. We asked a couple of our incredible vendors, Christina’s Cakes & Cake-A-Licious to share some of their unique cakes with us. The pillow cake is definitely not your everyday wedding cake. The great thing about pillow cakes is they look absolutely amazing in any color combination and are gorgeous in whites and ivories.

The ruffle cake was a cake to mimic a dress. A lot of brides like to bring some sort of element of their dress into their cakes, whether it’s a simple flower pattern or an entire lace pattern that is similar on their dresses.

The basket cake is very unique because obviously it doesn’t look at all like a cake and that’s what’s so fun about it. It’s totally unexpected and people are blown away when they realize they can eat that basket of flowers! The basket is the cake and the flowers are all handmade sugar flowers. This is also a great cake for not only weddings but bridal showers too!
