It is traditional for brides and grooms to give gifts to the bridal party, but what should you give? Here are a few ideas to help you find the perfect bridal party gifts.
Gifts for parents
After all, they did raise you and put up with your teenage antics; you can each give your parents something individually or give both sets of parents gifts from the two of you. Here are a few gifts parents love:
- Personalize photo albums or frames
- Cool cuff links for dads
- Elegant pearl strand for moms
- Personalized flask for dad (or mom!)
- Silver or polished wood jewelry box
Gifts for groomsmen
They’re your brothers, brothers-in-law, best friends, cousins, relatives you don’t know… thank them for their help with some of these great gifts:
- All-in-one pocket knives
- Embroidered handkerchiefs
- Flasks
- Personalized MP3 player holder
- Money clip
- Duffel bag
Gifts for bridesmaids
These are the gals you grew up with, went to college with and went on double-dates with. They’re there to apply cover-up to blemishes and control unruly guests; give them something great, like any of these gifts:
- Personalized make-up bag or tote
- Jewelry: bracelets, earrings, necklaces
- Personalized coin purse or compact
- Picture frames (with the two of you in it, of course!)
- Jewelry/keepsake box
- Spa gift
Gifts for attendants
With attendants, like ushers and wedding gift attendants, you can write them a note or give them something small, such as any of these:
- Bling key chains
- Embroidered hankies
- Engraved shot glasses or mugs
- Swiss Army knife
- Personalized compact
Gifts for flower girls and ringbearers
These shorter and cuter additions to your wedding party will be pleased with any number of things, since kids are easy to please. For the little girls and boys in your wedding party, try some of these gifts:
- Tea set
- Toys (depending on age)
- Tiara and “flower girl” shirt
- Locket
- Kid-sized baseball bat
- Piggy bank
- Wedding coloring book
- Cool cartoon-related watch
Whatever you decide to give your wedding party (after all, you know them best), give them your heartfelt thanks as well. Saying thank you for all their hard work will go a long way.
