We met with Tania she is from My Utah Invitations.com, she will be doing our invitations. We went over to Michelle Cousins house, she is our wedding planner, through Utah Events By Design. We sat down and designed our wedding invitations from scratch. I was amazed! I totally thought we were going to look through a book and would just pick one.
We started with the theme and what kinds of things Greg and I liked. Our theme for our wedding is French couture and the wedding colors are blush, champagne, and Tiffany blue. Michelle had given us a website to go through and pick pictures and designs we liked to she could get a feel for what we wanted. We then pulled all of those ideas together to make our invitations.
We started with a basic graphic designs for the layout and where to place them. Next we added the font, Tania literally has a million fonts to choose from. She gave us different ways that things could be worded and her opinion on what sounded best. It was nice to have Michelle right beside us because she knew what we was going for and threw out different ideas. They make a great team! After picking the font we started with the background. I knew I wanted a faded pink with texture, an that’s all I had to say. Tanya and started putting things together and said what about this. She got it right on the dot! I didn’t know how to explain it. It’s like she read my mind.
We pretty much just sat there and said yes, no, bigger, smaller. I was amazed at the completed invitation. We absolutely love them! Thanks to Tanya and Michelle our invitations are perfect! It complements the theme and look of the wedding, we can’t wait to send them out.

Invitations aren’t the only thing Tania can do. She is doing our inserts for the invitations, and the addressing labels. We also got to design our table numbers and name cards. The best thing is that they all match and go with our theme!

I just got the final e-mails from Tania. Our invitations are gorgeous!!! I am counting down the days till we can mail them out.
The only “hard work” that we had to do was gather everyone’s addresses. Then we had to transfer the addresses into an excel format. This is very time consuming so future brides, make sure to plan ahead.
After that we just e-mailed everything to Tania and she took care of it. What a relief! I highly suggest My Utah Invitations.com. Tania Finn is more than worth it!
