Meet one of our vendors Simply Sweet- Yes they are!!

We had the privilege to get to know one of our amazing vendors Simply Sweet. You can find them under our list of vendors in the catering section. My first impression of Simply Sweet is refreshing and classy. I was able to taste their delicious chocolate on chocolate cupcakes which are scrumptious.

Simply Sweet was literally started by popular demand. They have done food for weddings, open houses, and gatherings of all sorts for many years. They finally decided to make it official by launching Simply Sweet, with the unique idea of color themed desserts. The trend now is dessert buffets! Dessert buffets are so popular because they are both economical and fun. Simply Sweet knows how to make the presentation and style a notch above the rest, I was surely impressed with their beautiful displays.

Simply Sweet is a new and refreshing idea for the Utah market. They are a small company so each Bride & Groom will be able to get their full attention and you won’t be just another Bride & Groom to them. They pride themselves on being approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and available. With Simply Sweet you will get the attention you deserve when planning for your special day.

I was impressed with Simply Sweet because they take a lot of pride in their work. In fact their desserts absolutely taste as good as they look. At Simply Sweet they use the freshest ingredients, real cream, butter, eggs and vanilla is why their desserts taste the best. You won’t taste more delectable, delicious desserts anywhere and their unique color themed presentation is unlike anything around. They have fantastic cakes, cookies and candies. One of their most requested is the dessert buffets. They also suggest candy table stations which are the perfect compliment to fresh and fun weddings. If you are a simple girl, they can make your wedding whimsical, fresh, and flirty. If you are a more polished or traditional bride, they can step it up a notch and create the fairy tale you have always dreamed of. They have the ability to be whatever you want them to be. They offer a service and a memory that will set you and your wedding day apart from other weddings – without breaking the bank. Shelley at Simply Sweet shared a great wedding story with us, I couldn’t have said it better myself, this is what she said:

“One of our favorite experiences is the wedding we did where the bride and groom couldn’t get out of their reception quickly enough. At every wedding, we pack up a ‘to go’ box of desserts for the newlyweds to take with them. Well, this particular couple was in a real rush. For obvious reasons, they were excited to be married, and even more excited to be done with the celebrations and get some time alone. They RAN to their car, sped off, and as we were taking down the display, we noticed the bride had left her purse/wallet. About 20 minutes later, the car came speeding back into the parking lot, and in ran the bride and groom. Someone said, “What are you doing back here?” and the bride said, “We forgot our ‘to go’ box of treats!” I said, “You left your purse, too…” And the bride said, “Oh, I don’t care about that – just give me the dessert box!” And out they ran – WITH the desserts and WITHOUT her purse! Priorities! Those are my kind of people!”

Simply Sweet decided to get involved in the industry to make a difference. This is what Shelly said “There is nothing more fun than contributing to the day that every girl dreams of.
