Hey everyone! It has been super busy and hectic this last month with all the planning and trying to get everything in order. Now it’s only two weeks away! Ahhh!!!! I am so excited and can’t wait. Let me update you guys of all the fun craziness that’s been going on.
Let me tell you guys about my bridal pictures, so amazing and fun. Getting ready for the day was like getting ready for the wedding day. So it’s actually really good practice for the big day. I was so pleased I had such wonderful help from our wedding planner, Emily that day to make sure everything went off good. I was able to get my makeup done that day by a makeup artist that ended up donating to our giveaway. Let me tell you about her first and how amazing she did:

Okay so I am very picky with someone doing my makeup because that is huge for me especially for my wedding. This is the biggest day of my life and I want to look like myself yet look the absolute best that I can. Well let me tell you guys Anna did a fantastic job. The great thing with her is she does a practice trial with you where you can tell her your likes and dislikes. She works with you with her professional abilities and with what I would think looked good and combined them beautifully. She has all makeup provided and has just about all options and colors to choose from. She blends her colors so good everything looks so natural and your skin looks beautiful.
So she ended up doing my makeup for my bridal pictures and it looked so amazing. She remembered my little adjustments from the practice trial and it turned out perfectly! We were going for an old Hollywood glam look. My makeup looked so classy I loved it! I am telling you she does a really good job everyone should get their makeup done for their wedding day with Anna. She does on site services so she can come to you on your day without having to worry about the stress of going somewhere. She also does hair as well so anyone wanting to look beautiful on their big day and in their pictures I highly recommend Anna Mower!!!!
Back to my bridals, it was so fun! Not only did my hair and makeup look amazing, Justin from Swensen Photography is by far the best photographer there is in Utah! Once again he gave me amazing direction and knew exactly my angles for my face for it to hit the light perfectly. He is so easy to get along with and makes you feel confident while shooting. Which I am telling you is so important while taking photos. The shoot was at La Caille, it might just be the most beautiful place ever to shoot at. I am so lucky I got to have my bridals there; they have so many options and places to take your pictures. I felt like it was a fairytale. We did so many different poses all over La Caille. I loved it!!! I got to view my pictures with Swensen Photography last week and fell in love. They are all good, I don’t know how Justin does such an amazing job but they look like they are a magazine ad, the colors are absolutely gorgeous! I will post a picture after the wedding and show you guys how great he did. I don’t want Jared somehow getting on here and seeing my dress. J

I am so excited to tell you guys this! We were given an engagement/love story video with David Perry for the giveaway and it was awesome! He is one of the best in the state of Utah he has won many awards for his videos so for us to be able to work with him was so exciting for Jared and I. We met at his studio to do the first portion of the video which was the interview part. He is so easy to get along with Jared and I felt comfortable right away. His studio was beautiful we sat down on this couch and he set everything up around us with the cameras. Then he just asked us questions or landmarks in our relationship. Like are first date, and how Jared proposed. It was so cute Jared and I had so much fun with it. Like I said before he makes you feel so comfortable it was like we were just telling him our story and we didn’t even notice the cameras. Then we headed out to daybreak where we live. David also lives out there so he knew the area as well. We love daybreak, for those of you that don’t know, Daybreak has all these lakes and bridges and they are opening up these shops and restaurants in the middle of the community. The architecture of these shops and buildings is so contemporary and abstract looking that we thought it would be a perfect place to shoot are video. David was great! He gave us great direction and knew exactly what he was doing. He was so excited about the video that it made us excited. He showed us a couple of takes on his camera and he could capture everything so amazingly and knew how to capture the lighting of the moment. I feel like I could go on forever of how fun this was and I have not seen the video yet. I can’t wait to see the video and how he will put it together, I know with his expertise it’s going to be a lasting memory in our family that we will be able to show our children and grandchildren. I’m telling you guys go to David Perry check out his website and all he has to offer he will blow you away and think how cool that would be to have that video for the rest of your lives! I am going to post the video at our rehearsal dinner for all the family to see. I will also post it on this blog so you guys can check out how cool it is. Yay I’m so excited!!!
So the wedding is coming up fast, just trying to get all the last details tied up with the seating chart, good thing I have my planner to makes sure everyone is running on schedule and that all vendors are confirmed. What a life saver it is to have Emily from Perfection Planning, you don’t realize how busy you get and how much stuff you have to do, well I didn’t at least, and to have her has relieved tons of stress!
I am meeting with my other videographer Chris McClain this next week or so. He is doing the videography for my wedding! I’ll let you guys know how it goes. He is also amazing!
