Transformation & Healing Class For Women in Utah
Being ready for a relationship can take time to heal after a previous relationship. Before moving on to the next relationship or wedding engagement preparing yourself & giving yourself time to heal may be just what you need. Becoming the person you want to be & actually healing before your wedding would be beneficial not only to yourself but to your new founded relationship as well. You will go through many changes throughout your marriage. These tools can help you cope with the bad & embrace the good.
My amazing life coach Amanda Chappell is holding a four week seminar for Women only!!! This is a great opportunity for anyone that wants to be uplifted & given some tools to transform themselves to being the person they want to be & heal from previous relationships or situations that left one broken or torn. Here is a letter from the amazing instructor & a little bit about what these four weeks will entail. Be sure to contact her soon as there is limited space for this class. Hope to see you there.
Transformation and Healing Class
Class Content: 4 Principles of Healing and Transformations
1. Accept that you are 100% accountable for your inner life. Your life is one that you have created both consciously and unconsciously.
2. Know your uniqueness and honor it. Socrates said, “A life unexamined is not worth living.” Become aware of your needs and wants at all levels. Acknowledge your gifts and strengths as well as your “shadow self”. Be aware of what nurtures you physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually.
3. Learn the spiritual art of forgiveness of self and others. Practice the art of non-attachment, the art of letting go. Learn to let go of the so-called dark emotions of hate, envy, jealousy, resentment, guilt and anger.
4. Learn the art of spiritual practice. Develop a set of spiritual practices that honor your relationship with your higher Power of God. Create a place where you practice your spiritual rituals regularly, whether it be church, synagogue, mosque, home or wilderness.
The classes will begin on Thursday January 13, 2011 @ 6pm, located at 3520 N. University Avenue, Suite 225, in Provo, Utah.
Each class will last about 1 ½ hours.
The cost of the four classes will be $100.00.
Dates of Classes:
January 13th, 20th, 27th & February 3rd
Participants are encouraged to attend all four classes.
About Healing:
“Healing is Natural. It is not magical; it’s not mystical. It doesn’t require some esoteric intervention. It is your birthright, and mine. Everybody has the capacity for healing. We do it with each other all the time and we don’t even know it. Healing is the very ground of being. Everything is moving toward wholeness. And that’s all healing is, that movement. Our task is not to make something happen but to uncover what is already happening in us and in others, and to recognize and foster those conditions that nurture it. That’s all. We can do that with ritual or prayer, or with many different approaches and techniques. We can simply sit and be together and think about our true nature. No one technique is inherently any better than another. It’s simply a matter of learning to trust the natural healing process in all of us and moving freely with it.” Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D., F.A.A.P.
This class is for ladies who are going through transformations in their life. This may include divorce, catastrophic illness, job loss, death of a loved one, spiritual crisis or just curiosity. Pain is an opportunity to change. The class will provide a safe space and tools to create a basic foundation for a person to pursue the healing journey. This class will allow for a person to explore any question they may have about their present life experience. The focus of the class will be on healing the whole person. It is not intended to be therapy or counseling. It may be therapeutic, but it is not intended to be therapy. The person will be encouraged to learn and use inner technologies to assist in making life transformations.
Healing is defined as the process that connects us in harmony to all relationships. Emotional pain and suffering come from our separateness, our aloneness. Healing occurs when we find harmony between mind, body and spirit. Healing is a return to wholeness. Healing occurs when we outgrow any situation or event that creates distress and disharmony in our lives. The class will be facilitated using a “Coaching Model” rather than a treatment or medical model. The focus will be on “healing” as opposed to “curing” or “fixing”. Healing in reality transcends curing. People are in the class because life has extended you an invitation, usually in the form of life crises. This invitation is an opportunity to examine and heal one’s life. – C. Bradford Chappell PhD
