Casey & Brooke’s Love Story~Featured Utah Wedding~Salt Lake Temple

Brooke & Casey were married March 5, 2010 in the Salt Lake City Temple.  It was such a beautiful wedding day that we wanted to share it with you.  Since we are nearing March I wanted you to notice there is still snow on the ground in these images from last year.  Utah weather is certainly unpredictable.  You may think you will have a beautiful spring wedding day but it turns into winter weather quite quickly.  Don’t let the weather get you down though, after all it is the wedding not the weather you are prepared for.  Enjoy every moment even the unexpected events you can’t predict.

Occupations~ Brooke is currently attending Dixie State College and working at a local car dealership as their secretary.  Casey works as a superintendent for his dads construction company.

How they met~ “We met in 2008 when Brooke first moved down to Saint George to attend Dixie State College.  Brooke’s best friend moved down a couple weeks earlier and had met Casey and a group of his friends.  When Brooke moved down, her friend invited her to come along to hang out with them one night and Casey happened to be there.”

Engagement~On October 15^th 2009,they were up in Park City, Utah and Casey decided to take Brooke for a hike up in the mountains to see the beautiful changing leaves.  As they came back down there was a little bridge that was scoured with rose petals. She was completely taken by surprise as he proceeded to kneel on one knee and tell her how much he loved her and how he wanted to spend forever with her.  She of course, immediately said, “YES”!

What they enjoy doing together~Throughout the summer they love to be out in the hot Saint George sun! They love to take their jet skis out and spend the day on the lake.  They love to hike, explore, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors together.  They have also had the opportunity to remodel and fix up their home which they really enjoy doing together.

Their Love Story~ They have very similar personalities and therefore, when they first met they did not attract right away.  He thought that she was stuck up, and she thought that he was arrogant.  It was most definitely a love that formed over a period of time.  After meeting in 2008 and forming their opinions, they didn’t really see much of each other after that .  Then, after not seeing each other for about 4 or 5 months, Casey invited Brooke out to lunch, and her being a hungry college student, she decided to accept the offer.  While at lunch they both seemed to feel that something had changed.  Everything finally fell into place and started to click.  She then thought that he was captivating and he thought that she was one in a million.  They became exclusive after a trip to Phoenix around May of 2009 and have been inseparable ever since.  They couldn’t be more lucky to have each other and to have the relationship that they have.  They are definitely each others best friend and their love continues to grow with everyday that passes.

The Honeymoon~ After the wedding they went and stayed the night at the Anniversary Inn on 5^th South in Salt Lake City, which was absolutely beautiful, but their biggest plan, which they did,  was to leave for a week long honeymoon in Hawaii.

What Brooke loves most about Casey~ “I love his sense of humor and that he is so hardworking.  He is very sensitive to my needs and strives everyday to make me happy. ”

What Casey loves most about Brooke~“Her big blue eyes, and her outgoing personality, as well as her willingness to help others and be kind to everyone.”

Exciting NEWS~ “We are expecting a little baby girl that is scheduled to arrive on April 22^nd, and we couldn’t be more excited!  We feel very blessed and very fortunate to be able to bring a beautiful child into the world.  Life keeps getting better and better!”
