Jessica & Douglas Waller were married on April 17th, 2010 at Heritage Gardens. This adorable couple met in the sixth grade and Jessica says it was love at first site! They enjoy four wheeling at the sand dunes, going to the park, playing basketball, playing catch, riding long boards, watching movies and trying new places to eat.

We asked Jessica what her most memorable moment from her wedding was and she said that it was a toss up between the cake fight and the dance with her Dad and her new husband.

Engagement~ Douglas & Jessica went to watch fireworks at the West Jordan Park and during the grand finale Douglas told Jessica that they should stand up.  She thought it was a little weird but did it anyway.  Then, Douglas got down on one knee & asked said “Jessica, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?” She obviously said YES!

Honeymoon~ They stayed at the Little America on their first night as a married couple then woke up and went to Moab, where they stayed at the Red Cliff Lodge.

Wedding colors~ Hot pink, black and white

What Jessica likes most about Douglas~ “I love how selfless he is.”

What Douglas likes most about Jessica~ “Her personality, because she is beautiful inside and out.”

Photographer~ “Our photographer was Bethany Sell with Moments to Remember and I would recommend her to all of my friends she is very personable and she got so many amazing shots of our wedding and we didn’t even know she was there.  She doesn’t rush through the sessions she takes her time and captured us being us in our photos.”

Flowers~ “My Mom & I did all of the flowers.”

Hair~” My hair was done at Sherry K’s by Christine she is amazing at up-dos she was so fast and my hair looked perfect until I took it out.”

Wedding Cake ~ “Heritage Gardens made my cake they do such a great job and they have so many cakes to choose from.”

Dress~ “I found my dress at David’s Bridal I picked three that I thought were pretty and the first one I tried on I knew it was the one.”

Advice to other Brides~ “Take time to find everything they want and not to settle!”

Jessica said she wouldn’t change a thing, her wedding day was perfect.
