Dress in Style for Your Wedding~With Modest Couture

Picking out your wedding dress should be one of the funnest parts of your planning.  There are so many elements to decide on when picking out the perfect dress.  When you are trying to decide be sure you look at all your options & think of what your style is.  After you have your desired style then you need to find someone you trust so that you can have the dress you have always dreamed about.  If you want to have a custom new-vintage dress then look no further.

Here are two amazingly beautiful dresses we want to showcase.  The first one is called Gidget by Modest Couture.

Gidget: Inspired by Gidget from the movies/tv series of the 1960′s.  I believe the 1st Gidget was Sandra Dee.  She was a California surfer girl.  Gidget loved the ocean and spent most of her time there. So this is an ocean inspired dress.  Gidget = girl + midget!

Gidget is White Duchess Satin with a polka-dot English Net overlay.  There are many curves and plunges in this dress, mimicking the movement of the waves as they creep and plunge toward the shoreline.  The Satin (white crest of the waves), polka dots (splatters of water that pop up unexpectedly), English Net (the constantly flowing movements of the ocean), rhinestone trim at the midriff (the way the ocean sparkles and glistens when the sun hits it just right).  The square-scoop neckline in front and the plunging neckline in back create a beautiful long look to frame the face and highlight that toned surfer girl back.  The wide midriff curves up at the sides, gently caressing the bust line, elongating the sides and flattering the waist.  A super full skirt of inverted box pleats falls to a Ballerina length, which adds elegance to this dramatic gown.  This memorable gown looks great with almost any accessory.  A bride can make this dress uniquely her own by adding different color sashes, bows, antique broaches and anything else she can think of.

The second dress we want to feature is called Cindy.

Cindy: Inspired by Cinderella!

Cindy is White Duchess Satin with an overlay of pearl & sequin embellished sheer lace.  True to the romance Cinderella dreamed of it features a sweetheart neckline, princess-puffed sleeves, and a huge ball gown skirt showcasing a dropped scalloped overlay.  The airy lace with splatterings of sequins and a plethera of pearls sparkles and shines with each movement.  This particular gown has a built-in ultra-full aqua petticoat.  Petticoats can be made in almost any color and to any specifcied fullness.  Petticoats can also be made seperately if the bride wishes.  In a tea-length gown a real-life Cinderella radiates as she dances the night away with her own Prince Charming!
