Nathan & Kelsey~Featured Wedding at The Woods on Ninth

Kelsey Mauchley & Nathan Cowley were married at The Woods on Ninth and we wanted to share their story with you.  Kelsey paid attention to the small details that really added a great touch to her wedding.  Be sure to check out all their pictures to see their personal touches. This adorable couple met in their first accounting class at the University of Utah.  They love to play blackjack, halo, and tennis and love going to to Jazz games, U football games & Bees games.  They also love eating out at new restaurants.

The Proposal~ “Nathan took me in a private airplane and we flew around the Salt Lake Valley, over Park City, and over Provo and on the descent, Nathan proposed.”

Their Song~“Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day (Nathan was singing it the first time we walked around campus together.)”

What Kelsey likes most about Nathan~ “What I like most about Nathan is his optimism. No matter what situation we are in, he is always trying to see the good in it. Whenever something goes wrong, he tells me it will be an adventure and that it will make good memories.”

What Nathan likes most about Kelsey~ “The part I like most about Kelsey is her femininity, and that starts with her uncanny ability to tend to feelings I didn’t even know existed and ends with her drop-dead gorgeous looks.”

Wedding Colors~ Dark purple and light blue

“I would highly suggest having a professional do your makeup for your wedding. They know what type of makeup will look good in photos. Also, I would suggest having at least one trial run before the wedding.”

Wedding Cake~ “Leslie’s Bakery – Bill Leslie is a great family friend. He has spent almost his entire life mastering the art of baking. Bill’s cakes look and taste great.”

Wedding Dress~ The Perfect Dress ” It was the first dress I saw when I walked into the store.  It was a little unique so I passed by it at first; but I kept coming back to look at it so I finally decided to try it on. It was the first dress I tried on and I immediately knew it was the one!”

Advice from the Bride~ “Don’t make your own invitations unless you have a lot of time! We loved the end result, but it took weeks to finish.”

Kelsey & Nathan are moving to San Jose, California to start working at two of the Big Four accounting firms.  They are so excited to start their life together as young professionals in a new city.  We are excited for them too.  What an awesome couple they are.  Congratulations Kelsey & Nathan.  We wish you lots of love & happiness in your future together.  Thanks for letting The Bride and Groom.com share your love story.
