The fad these days is for the bride to have two dresses, a formal for the wedding ceremony and a party dress for the wedding reception. Fantasy Bridal is where I found my reception dress. Upon meeting my personal consultant I was asked to fill out a paper about myself, the wedding and what I was looking for. This way it gave the consultant a good feel for who I was and what I wanted.

When we started going through dresses she knew I wanted a knee length, lace dress, so she showed me the lace selection. After about three dresses she told me they had just received a dress in their shipment that fit the description I wanted. I tried it on and I fell in love with it! It didn’t fit perfectly, so we had to do some altering. They had an in house seamstress that made it easy to make sure my dress fit just right!

I absolutely love my dress from Fantasy Bridal! Shopping for a wedding dress can be very difficult. Finding the look and the style that you want can be overwhelming, but with Fantasy Bridal’s great customer service and professional personal consultants, it was actually quite easy to find what I wanted. Flowers, flowers and more flowers! Kimberly Watt from Chic Design Studio is our florist for the wedding. We sat down at Michelle Cousins (Utah Events By Design) house and started to discuss our vision. I was only familiar with a few flowers that I knew I wanted for the wedding, other than that I was clueless. When I told Kimberly what they were, she told me they weren’t even available in the fall. Now I was really clueless! She assured me that it wasn’t a big deal and that we would be able to find similar flowers.

Kimberly has books and books of flowers to look through. These helped us to get an idea of what we wanted. With Kimberly at our side, we could pick any flower in the book and she could tell us the sizes and colors they came in. We started with a “like” and “don’t like” list so that Kimberly could get a feel for our style and what we wanted. After making the list we then went through and talked about the price range of each flower. This way we could stay within our budget.

Kimberly is fun to work with. She has passion for what she does and it shows. She cares just as much about the flowers and presentation as you do. Kimberly has an amazing knowledge of flowers, she can make anything happen!

On July 16t, 2011 Ami and her fiance Greg were the winners of the Dream Wedding Give Away at the Summer Bridal Extravaganza at LaCaille. Their wedding is tomorrow October 7th. TheBrideandGroom.com wants to wish them the very best with their wedding and as they begin their new life together.
