Cliff Williams III & Jjana Valentiner were married on May 15,2010.  They had an intimate ceremony on the mountain side behind Jjana’s parents home  & a reception celebration in Jjana’s parents backyard.  Outdoor weddings are so beautiful, especially this time of year.  We want to thank Raji at Tiny Comet Photography for sharing these images with us.

Cliff & Jjana were both actors in Washington, DC and they were cast opposite each other in a staged reading of a new play. This is where their journey started. They enjoy going to the theatre together, obviously as participants but to watch as well.  They love to watch movies, go on road trips, cheer on the Crimson Tide, enjoy good food & play with their dog.  They just really enjoy being together.

What Jjana likes most about Cliff~ “His sense of humor and biceps”

What Cliff likes most about Jjana~“That she will try new things”

The Proposal~ Cliff took Jjana to her favorite waterfall, close to where she grew up in Salt Lake City.  Cliff knew how much she loved this spot & wanted it to be their special memory.

Their Song~ “The Lukiest” by Ben Folds

Wedding Colors~ Teal accented with crimson

Most memorable~ “Our best memory is just how happy we were to have so many people we love in one place and dancing with our family and friends.”

Photographer~“Raji Barbir of Tiny Comet Photography.  We absolutely LOVED working with him.  He made the whole process very enjoyable, had great rates and we were thrilled with the pictures!”

Hair & Make up~ Jjana is a make-up artist so she did her own, but her hair was styled by a member of the bridal party.  Alex Provenzano (Cristophe Salon) is a dear friend as well as her stylist from Washington, DC.

Caterer~ “Mary June Woods catered the event.  We knew we wanted appetizers as well as a full buffet and dessert.  The bride was a huge fan of everything Mary June made so we narrowed it down based on the garden party setting, time of year as well as the caterer’s suggestions.”

Wedding Dress~Deb Sivigny designed and created a new dress from the one originally worn by the mother of the bride at her wedding.  The designer is based in Washington, DC and had worked with the bride on a couple of theatre productions.

Other Vendors & Tips from the bride~ “We found many, many great items for decorating at Save On Crafts.”

“We also served gelato which was a HUGE hit from Bella Citta Gelato & Café.  They are definitely worth checking out. Be sure to tell them Char Valentiner sent you.”

“Everyone that comes to your wedding will remember most how they felt – even more so then what the flowers, food, dress, decorations, etc. were like, so focus on creating a true celebration of your love as opposed to creating the ‘perfect wedding’.  That approach works with any budget to guarantee an unforgettable night.”

Thanks to Cliff & Jjana for sharing their wedding with us.  We wish you luck as you settle down in Washington, DC and start your next project together.  Congratulations & best wishes on your future together from The Bride and Groom.com!
