Great first dance video from YouTube… this video is a classic!
Your first dance is a great way to make your wedding unique or memorable. Most people go for the “memorable” sentimental first dance. If you have the personality and are looking for a way to make your wedding something your friends and family will never forget, an unexpected dance is a great way to bring some fun to the day.
To Dance or Not to Dance?
It really depends on the mood of your wedding. If you are sending out 500+ invitations, you will probably end up spending a lot of time in a line greeting guests. If you have a more intimate guest list, you will have more time to bust a move on the dance floor. You also have to consider what your personalities and what your fiance is comfortable with. I always recommend doing at least a first dance, daddy-daughter dance, and mother-son dance (you can get great video and pictures during this time
).
Entertainment at your Wedding Reception
Entertainment at your wedding is an important part of your reception. You have many options - live bands, beautiful piano background music, DJ, acoustic guitars, lighting, dancers, and more! A couple months ago, Kelly with Gallery Photography posted some great wedding shots on his blog. The first wedding reception was at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. You can tell the bride and groom had a fun reception at least partially due to the outstanding entertainment they had - live band, dancers, dancing, the works!
When planning your wedding, don’t forget to consider these important aspects that can make your wedding unique - dancing and entertainment.
