Featured Mt. Timpanogos Temple Wedding: Bill & Carlie

William & Carli had a beautiful fall wedding. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Mount Timpanogos Temple with a reception at the Northampton House.
The Proposal… Just the beginning of their true love story.
The proposal was quite the surprise in Carli’s eyes. It all started with an early flight back to Utah from New York. The flight home was just the beginning of all the surprises to come that day.
After arriving in Utah, Bill took Carli up to the beautiful Provo canyon to enjoy the fresh air. As they were chatting and enjoying their time together on the big rock that overlooks the Provo River. At that very moment Bill got down on one knee and proposed with his mother’s first engagement ring. It was unbelievable!
This was just the beginning of their true love story.
The Wedding, Some Hay, and Some Horses
The bride and groom were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on a beautiful fall day. “The day was just perfect; it couldn’t have been a better day!” Carli’s dress was designed by Maggie Sottero. It was an elegant lace over satin, empire waistline, corset back gown with short cap-sleeves and satin sash accents.
While taking pictures at the temple, Carli and Bill ventured over to a field full of hay bales and horses. This created some very unique and beautiful pictures that will make their wedding one to remember.
The Wedding Reception
Their reception was held at the Northampton House in American Fork. The theme for the couple’s reception was all influenced by the fall. They wanted their guest to feel the warmth of the fall air at their reception.
Their colors were chocolate brown and deep red to go along with their theme. Carli and Bill’s song played throughout the reception. It was very special to have songs that meant so much to the couple setting the tone for their wedding day.
The couple’s cake went right along with their theme for the night. A five-tier cake with different flavors and fillings in each layer all covered with white frosting. A chocolate brown frosted ribbon wrapped around the edge of the cake, and beautiful roses to top it off with.
Costco Food did the catering for the reception. Guest enjoyed delicious croissant sandwiches and to-die-for pumpkin pie cheesecake. The couple enjoyed their food - at least what they had a chance to taste!
This wedding was unique as it was being filmed for a new show that airs this January on KJZZ. The new show is called the BRIDE idea. The couple was very excited to be featured on this upcoming TV show.
