One thing I love about being a wedding planner is seeing all of the fun, new ideas and themes that brides bring into our event room.  At Blue Lemon, Highland we have seen simple and elegant, bright and bold, vintage and classic, and the very very unique.  Each bride is different and when it’s your wedding it is your time to shine! It is so important that your event reflects you and your groom’s personalities and love for one another.

My favorite wedding reception I got to work on this summer was all about the details!  Black and white damask with splashes of lime green.   Starting with the event entrance to our Blue Room you could immediately see the fun and loving atmosphere that the bride and groom were welcoming you too.  The stairs were lined with lime green and damask balloons and the hallway was full of pictures.  I don’t think you can ever have enough pictures at your reception!  Again it’s your time to shine.  Showcase your love for one another by displaying your engagements, bridals, and dating pictures.  Tie everything together with frames that match your colors or themes and you have an amazing display.

This reception had thought of everything from the damask toppers on the tables, to the lime green gumballs, to the candles, and even damask duck tape.  Every little detail was taken into account.  Blue Lemon even specially designed an amazing damask themed wedding cake just for this bride and groom.

Every event I’ve been able to be a part of this summer has been beautiful and unique in its own way.  This is just one of the many that I feel so lucky to have been able to be a part of!
