Ice Castles ~ A Fun Unique Place For Pictures

We found this incredible location where photographers can take brides and grooms to get some truly unique pictures.

After reading about it we contacted Brent who is the creator of these amazing Ice Castles to give us a little more information and provide us with some incredible pictures.  Even if you aren’t engaged these castles will provide for a wonderful time with friends and family.  Check it out.

“Ethereal, unbelievable beauty!”  The Midway Ice Castles offer a
setting that is unlike anything in the world.  Unlike ice castles in
China and Canada, these Castles are not carved from blocks of ice.
They are grown with icicles from the ground up!  The beautiful
creations are made entirely out of ice– having no supporting
substructure. The beauty of the Ice Castle lies in its organic,
ever-evolving nature. Its fascinating ice formations are dynamic.  The
lighting at night creates an even more romantic atmosphere.  The
pathways will wind around 30 towers and through several glacier-like
tunnels with blue ice.  There will be places for the bride to warm
herself too.

Ice Castles will open around the Middle of December and go through February 2011.
Mon-Sat. NOON-10:00 p.m.

There will be public restrooms close by, places to keep warm, buy hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls, and even small two-seater sleds available for those who can’t walk or just want to enjoy a ride!!!!

This year in Midway’s Town Square, the Ice Castles are minutes from
