La Caille~From the $100k Dream Wedding Winners

I dedicate this entire blog to the very place where our Dream $100,000 giveaway was won. This wonderful place is known as La Caille, located at the mouth of little cottonwood canyon in Sandy. As I have said before, I had already attended one bridal show at the South Town Expo center, and was equally excited to attend the La Caille bridal show. I was told by numerous people, that this was the show to attend.

I had previously walked the beautiful grounds of La Caille when the initial search for a venue was underway. My fiance Thomas grew up within 2 miles of La Caille and was already well aware of the beautiful nature of the venue and restaurant.

Elegance, beauty and a sense of upper class is something that I have always wanted my wedding to portray. What better place to have a wedding then a 23 acre estate/restaurant/vineyard and venue location. My breath was literally taken away the first time I saw how beautifully this “french” inspired venue was assembled. Containing everything from rivers, streams, meadows, vineyards, ponds and forest. This venue truly has all the bells and whistles.

Upon winning the dream wedding package, my fiance and I went to meet with Mary and Rachel of La Caille. Let me say, that these are 2 very funny, kind and happy people to work with. I have always wanted to surround myself (especially at my wedding) with people who want to be there, to share the moment and to enjoy it along with us. I felt that Mary and Rachel are definitively grouped into that class.

After a couple hours of meeting with Mary and Rachel, my fiance and I were able to solidify a perfect date for our dream wedding. A date where many people will be able to attend and enjoy the ceremony and reception with us. We truly cannot wait for the experience and continue to hope that time will fly!
